Kenny Anderson was one of the most electrifying point guards of his era. A New York City hoops prodigy, he dominated at Archbishop Molloy High School, earning the title of the best high school player in the nation. His dazzling handles and court vision made him a star at Georgia Tech, where he led the Yellow Jackets to the 1990 Final Four.
Drafted 2nd overall by the New Jersey Nets in 1991, Anderson enjoyed a solid NBA career, playing 14 seasons with multiple teams. At his peak, he was an All-Star (1994) and a dynamic playmaker, forming a lethal duo with Derrick Coleman. Though his career had ups and downs, his impact on NYC basketball culture remains legendary.
Today, Anderson focuses on coaching and mentoring young players, sharing his knowledge and experiences from the game he loves. Kenny has joined Project Max as an ambassador, using his platform to fight racism and antisemitism through sports, inspiring the next generation to create positive change.
